August Moon had supporting the local and surrounding communities through donations, donations of goods and services, sponsorship of program by ads since opening in the year 1990. Large or small, we supported a host of community schools programs at all level; elementary school, middle school and high school. In addition, August Moon also supports a variety of the Murray State University departments programs and its organizational programs on the campus.

Our continuing supports for the local community have never paused over the duration of our business. We supports extended to fundraising and charity events yearly such as Relay for Life, American Heart Association, Rotary Club, Lions Club, Boys and Girls Scouts and so forth.

Our supports also extended to our local law enforcement authorities; Murray Police Department, local chapter of the Fraternal Order of Police lodge, Sheriff department, Murray Fire Department.
